Yesterday, despite trying as best as I could, there was no Internet to be found by the time I was ready to send the newsletter off even though the video upload was on time and at that time the internet was mercifully working fine. So I could manage to send the newsletter in the day today.

The morning safari today was pretty good both in terms of sighting, pictures and videos for the tiger couple from yesterday had downed a cow that had ventured into the reserve and had been feeding off the grass for a good eleven or twelve days. The people visiting the reserve had been observing the cow, grazing around happily, and had been wondering how the cow had continued to be alive around four tigers in that area. The cow finally ran out of luck today and the second tiger couple from yesterday (the one with a younger male and an older female with the female leading the uninterested male on) killed the cow and made a lunch of it. But they had dragged the kill inside the cover, so we could not really get any good pictures of the tigers feeding on the prey. It was only towards late afternoon, when it was about time for us to exit that the two tigers came out and I could manage to click a few pictures in bad light.

In the afternoon safari, we got the tiger the moment we entered the reserve but it was far off and so there were no good pictures to be clicked. The only interesting thing about the afternoon safari was a large male tiger atop a tree. We got some pictures of it but it was already on the tree when we got there, so there was not much action to be caught on the camera though a tiger on the tree still made a good visual. That was it for today. The video is likely to be late today because of the low internet speed.
