This is a Yellow-throated Marten baring his teeth at us. Yellowthroated martens (Martes flavigula) is native to the Himalayas, Southeast and East Asia. With a bright yellow-golden fur and a black head, it’s a very cute but just as shy a creature, which makes it hard to find and harder to click. After the Nilgiri Martens, this one is the largest of the Old World martens.
