About aarzoo

Aarzoo Khurana, a lawyer by training and a wildlife photographer by passion and vocation, has dedicated herself to bringing the wonders of distant wildlife closer to people. In an era when climate change has shifted from a casual topic of drawing-room conversations to a global existential threat, her efforts to reconnect human civilization with nature and wildlife are a crucial step toward promoting sustainable development. For development that comes at the expense of the environment is, ultimately, a trade of life for meaningless luxury.

Project ATR, in which Aarzoo traveled to all 55 tiger reserves in India in a single road trip, covered 37,000 kilometers over six months. The aim of this monumental journey was to raise public awareness about the tiger reserves and highlight the conservation efforts under Project Tiger to protect and sustain India’s wildlife.

With a global social media following of over 2 million, Aarzoo has connected a vast audience with India’s wildlife conservation efforts, far surpassing what she initially set out to achieve when she first picked up a camera and pointed it at a wild subject. Her work has been widely featured on platforms such as Discovery, NatGeo, Animal Planet, and many more. Additionally, she has mentored numerous students and has been teaching wildlife photography for the past seven years.
